We want your experience at The Barn at Sloop Point to be as simple and enjoyable as possible. Here are answers to a few of our most commonly asked questions.
What areas of the property are available for photoshoots?
Your booking gives you access to the designated photography areas throughout the property, including the barn (studio room & outside), the pond, surrounding acreage and natural landscapes, the pool & garden area and finally the exterior of the historic home. Please note that the interior of the home is not available for photography.
How far in advance can I book?
Photography sessions can currently be booked up to 30 days in advance. Available dates and times shown on our booking calendar reflect the property’s current availability.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We know weather can be unpredictable, especially for outdoor sessions. If weather conditions make your photoshoot difficult or unsafe, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule your session for another available date.
Can more than one photographer use the property at the same time?
No. We reserve the property for one photoshoot at a time so you can enjoy the space without overlapping with other sessions. You’ll have the freedom to explore the property, move between locations, and make the most of your time here.
Does my booking include a photographer?
No! We provide access to the property as a photography location—you’re welcome to bring your own photographer or capture photos yourself.

Please Note
The Barn at Sloop Point provides the location and setting for your session. Photographers, videographers, styling, props, and creative direction are not included and must be arranged separately by the client.
